Privacy Policy

Last updated December 2, 2023

Loafsoft, LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates “CrosswordBlocks” (“the Game”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose the information we collect through use of the Game.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms that are not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given them in our Terms of Use. The use of information collected through the Game shall be limited to the purposes under this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. By using our Game, you agree that any information that we collect from or about you through our Services may be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

CrosswordBlocks uses Unity Cloud Save to provide persistent data across devices. When you open the Game with an internet connection, an anonymous account is either saved to Unity Cloud Save, or an existing account is accessed. This account identifies users with only a random user ID. Your user ID can be seen at any time from the Game’s Settings page.

As you progress in the Game, your progress data is synced with your account. The following data is synced:

  • The amount of blocks you have

  • The decor items or other unlockable content you have access to

  • The puzzles you have completed

None of this information is personally-identifiable.

Because your account contains no personally-identifiable information, it is only through unique identifiers on your device that you are able to access your data on Unity Cloud Save. For cross-platform usage, and additional safety features, we also offer non-anonymous authentication.

Non-anonymous authentication

To use non-anonymous authentication, you will create an account with Unity Cloud Save. This involves either using an email address, or a social sign-in feature (such as Sign In with Google).

By using Unity Cloud Save you are storing your credentials with Unity itself, you are advised to read carefully Unity’s own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

  • To facilitate our Service;

  • To provide the Service on our behalf;

We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
